In the evening hours of September 2, 2019, the life of Gregory Turnipseed, a 27-year-old Black man from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded at approximately 7:40 p.m. in the 5200 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, where violence erupted in the form of a triple shooting. Turnipseed was fatally wounded during the attack, and two other individuals were also injured, caught in the spray of bullets that shattered the late summer evening.
