In the early morning hours of July 24, 2019, the life of Anton Eastman, a 29-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. At approximately 2:45 a.m., police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2600 block of Gatehouse Drive, the very same block where Eastman resided. Upon their arrival, officers discovered him suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and torso. Despite any medical efforts, Anton Eastman was pronounced dead at the scene.
