In the afternoon warmth of May 29, 2019, the life of 28-year-old David Mackall Jr. was tragically cut short in a shooting in West Baltimore. First responders were called to the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue around 2:46 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Mackall suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
