In an act of selfless friendship, 21-year-old Kaylyn High lost her life on February 27, 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was fatally shot while coming to the aid of a friend who was attempting to flee a domestic dispute. The friend had been involved in a physical altercation with Ramon Burks Jr., the 25-year-old father of her child, on East 22nd Street.
