In the afternoon hours of a Thursday in Baltimore, tragedy struck, forever altering the lives of one family. On April 12, 2018, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Moreland Avenue. There they found 27-year-old Dominic Smith suffering from gunshot wounds. He was a male. Urgently transported to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries, his life cut short in a violent encounter.
