In the a neighborhood accustomed to violence, 31-year-old Maryus Smith Jr., a Black male, was shot and killed on January 28, 2017. The incident took place in the 1900 block of North Monroe Street in Baltimore, Maryland. First responders found Smith at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
