In the summer of 2015, a violent encounter left a lasting and ultimately fatal mark on the life of Delonio Richburg. On July 26th, in the early morning hours around 1:30 a.m., chaos erupted in the 3500 block of Hubbard Road in Hyattsville, Maryland. Gunshots shattered the quiet of the night, and when police arrived, they discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was 22-year-old Delonio Richburg of Annapolis.
