In the early evening of Monday, November 25, 2013, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of the 1600 block of Treasure Street in New Orleans. It was there, at approximately 6:00 p.m., that Michael E. Williams, Jr., a male, was gunned down. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the attack. Emergency services were called to the scene, but the injuries inflicted upon Williams were too severe, and he succumbed to them.
