Willie Lee Barnes, a 29-year-old resident of Fresno, California, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2020. The incident occurred in the afternoon near the intersection of Tupman Street and George Avenue, close to Jensen and Elm Avenues. According to reports, Barnes was shot once in the upper body while he was in the area. The shooting was not random; it happened in broad daylight while many children were playing nearby.
