On October 8, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Fresno, California, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Harmanpreet Singh. The event occurred just before 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Curry House Restaurant and Bar, located near Ashlan and West Avenues. Both Harmanpreet and the suspect, 28-year-old Lovepreet Singh, hailed from Modesto and were attending a celebration at the restaurant.
