In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a 19-year-old male named Elijah Demetrius Kamonte Moore was shot and killed on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. The incident occurred in the afternoon, around 2 p.m., at a convenience store on North Acadian Thruway near Fairfields Avenue.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Moore was the victim of an armed robbery. An altercation took place, during which he was shot multiple times. He succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene of the crime.
