Travis Paster, a 32-year-old resident of Lancaster, California, tragically passed away on January 6, 2017, at the Oak Tree Gun Club in Santa Clarita. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. when Paster suffered a fatal gunshot wound. According to authorities, the shooting was self-inflicted. Paster, who was a talented engineer, had been struggling with an addiction to opioid medications following surgery less than a year prior to his death.
