David Raymond Ontiveros, a 43-year-old resident of La Puente, California, tragically lost his life following a violent altercation on December 12, 2015. On that day, Ontiveros was working on a car outside his home on Tamar Drive when he motioned for a passing vehicle to slow down. The driver of the vehicle stopped, and an argument ensued between Ontiveros and the driver. During the confrontation, the driver pulled out a gun and shot Ontiveros multiple times.
