Dion Moore, a 50-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 1, 2022, in the lobby of the Clevelander Hotel in Miami Beach, FL. Moore, who was working at the front desk, encountered 29-year-old Brandon Kortez Burris, who had been attempting to sneak into the hotel's nightclub.
