In the spring of 2016, the life of 18-year-old Dayshawn Cole, an African American male known to some as "Day Day," was cut tragically short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of March 11th, in the rear of the 1500 block of North Gilmor Street, Cole was shot. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
