Lori Pettis, a 47-year-old African American woman, was tragically found dead on October 5, 2020, in Riviera Beach, Florida. Lori, who worked as a housekeeper at the Chesterfield Hotel, was discovered alongside 32-year-old Octavious Pittman, both victims of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, a residential area in Riviera Beach.
