Brian Patterson Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, was found dead on June 20, 2017, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident at a residence on the 3000 block of 3rd Street W. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Brian Patterson Jr. and 27-year-old Shantrese Garcia, both victims of a double homicide. The Major Crimes Unit was called to the scene to assist with the investigation, indicating the severity of the crime.
