Samuel Sweeting, a 36-year-old resident of Merritt Island, Florida, tragically lost his life on October 16, 2016. The incident occurred at the Tropical Manor Apartments on Jordan Road, where Sweeting was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Brevard County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 10 p.m. following reports of shots fired.
