Rodney Greenlee, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 1, 2016, in Fort Myers, Florida. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 8:40 a.m., when Fort Myers police received reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Greenlee's body on a sidewalk along Cranford Avenue, between Lime Street and Dr. Ella Piper Way. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
