Brannon Graham, a 51-year-old male from Hallandale Beach, Florida, was fatally shot on the evening of February 5, 2025, in West Park, near Hollywood, Florida. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:26 p.m. in the 4000 block of Pembroke Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Graham suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit
launched an inquiry into the incident. Their preliminary findings indicated that Graham had been involved in a verbal dispute with another individual, which escalated into a physical altercation. During the confrontation, the suspect, identified as 50-year-old Melchior Warren, allegedly shot Graham before fleeing the scene. Later that evening, detectives located Warren and took him into custody.
Warren was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and was booked into the Broward County Main Jail, where he is being held without bond. Authorities have not disclosed a clear motive for the shooting at this time. The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue to gather evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal encounter.
