In the early morning hours of July 5, 2013, the life of 23-year-old Devin Christopher Hardy was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. A Black male, Hardy was in the company of 33-year-old Tyrone Bailey in the 700 block of East Preston Street when violence erupted. At approximately 1:50 AM, both men were shot in what authorities would later describe as a double-fatal shooting.
The incident left the Johnston Square neighborhood shaken as police responded to the scene.
