In the waning days of 2022, just two days before Christmas, a sense of tragedy pierced the festive season in southwest Atlanta. On December 23rd, 53-year-old Arthur Heard, a Black/African American man, was found deceased. His body was discovered lying face down on Holderness Street after firefighters had been called to the area for an unrelated blaze.
