In the summer of 2021, the life of a young man was tragically cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. Courtney Ball Otis, a 24-year-old African American male, was found on the night of July 23rd with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response and efforts of emergency personnel, his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them at the scene. His death was quickly ruled a homicide, prompting a thorough investigation by the Atlanta Police Department.
