In the early morning hours of January 26, 2019, the life of 22-year-old Julian Kani Thomas, an African American male, was tragically cut short in Waycross, Georgia. Responding to a call shortly after 1 a.m., law enforcement found Julian inside a residence on Garland Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Memorial Satilla Health Medical Center, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
