In the spring of 2018, a confrontation over a stolen car in southwest Atlanta ended in the tragic death of 43-year-old Tiawan Williams. An African American man, Williams had tracked his wife's stolen vehicle to a residence on Nathan Road on the evening of May 10th. There, he confronted Quordell Tarver, the man he believed was responsible for the theft.
