In the early morning hours of April 17, 2016, a visit to Savannah, Georgia, for the annual 'Orange Crush' event turned tragic for a young man from Atlanta. Brandon Mar-quez Champion, a 25-year-old male, was discovered with gunshot wounds on the shoulder of Truman Parkway near Montgomery Cross Road. Despite the immediate response from law enforcement, Champion succumbed to his injuries.
