In the summer of 2015, a dispute in southwest Atlanta tragically cut short the life of a young man. On the evening of June 15th, Xavier Cummings, a 24-year-old male, was shot in the 1000 block of Oakland Drive SW. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m., after which Cummings was transported to Grady Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
