In the summer of 2023, the life of 44-year-old Quionez Mabry was tragically cut short in a park in southwest Atlanta. On the morning of August 21st, his body was discovered by a pond in Dean Rusk Park, located on Lawton Street. Atlanta Fire Rescue personnel were the first to respond to the scene and pronounced him dead.
