In the spring of 2010, the life of 28-year-old Dywane Ronald Majett, a Black / African American male, was cut short by violence on the streets of Baltimore. On the evening of April 27th, in an alley tucked away behind the 500 block of Chateau Avenue in the Winston-Govans neighborhood, multiple gunshots shattered the quiet. When police responded to the scene at approximately 6:45 p.m., they discovered Majett suffering from several gunshot wounds to his torso.
