On the evening of Friday, April 1, 2022, Dorian Michael Lewis, a 34-year-old man, was found shot to death in the Behrman neighborhood of Algiers on the West Bank of New Orleans. The New Orleans Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Garden Oaks Drive after receiving a call about a man down. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Lewis lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
