Jemond Malik Cador, a 21-year-old male, was a graduate of West Jefferson High School's 'Class of 2018' and had served for three years in the United States Army National Guard. His life was tragically cut short on December 6, 2021, when he was shot and killed in his Terrytown apartment. The incident occurred during a botched armed robbery attempt. An acquaintance from his National Guard unit, Myron Lee, had visited Cador's apartment on Wright Avenue a week prior to the fatal encounter.
