On a Tuesday evening in November 2021, the life of 23-year-old Jamar Alexander Norris was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. The young man, identified as a Black male, was discovered inside a vehicle at the Cooper Road Plaza apartment complex, having sustained at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the scene in the 3700 block of Cooper Road shortly after 7:00 p.m. on November 16th, where they found Norris already deceased.
