In the spring of 2021, the life of 16-year-old KRon Anthony Hoskins was tragically cut short by gun violence in New Orleans. On the evening of Sunday, April 11th, a shooting erupted in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans East, leaving KRon, a young Black male, with fatal injuries. Another teenager, aged 15, was also caught in the gunfire and was left in critical condition.
