In the quiet evening of March 7, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm on Essen Lane in Baton Rouge. When police arrived around 7:20 p.m., they discovered 17-year-old Joseph Coleman in the driver's seat of a Honda Accord, suffering from gunshot wounds.
