On the evening of March 1, 2020, Louis “Scooter” Cryer, a 28-year-old male, was on Cambridge Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, when a vehicle approached. An unidentified person inside the car opened fire, striking Cryer multiple times in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 7:41 p.m. in the 6700 block of the street.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital to treat the gunshot wounds. Tragically, the injuries proved to be fatal, and he later died at the hospital.
