In the summer of 2013, the life of 16-year-old Cameron Malik Phillips, a male student at Glen Oaks Senior High School, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cameron was fatally wounded in a shooting.
