On a spring day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 23-year-old Joshua Earl Thomas, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On April 3, 2005, Thomas became a victim of a brutal triple homicide. The violence of that day also claimed the lives of two other young men, 25-year-old Ivy Chauard “Don” Smith and 26-year-old Kevin “Kel-boo” “Ace” Henderson.
