On December 24, 2022, Asif Imran, a 26-year-old resident of Orange, Texas, was found shot to death inside his car in the driveway of his home. The Orange Police Department responded to a welfare check call at around 2:41 a.m. and discovered Imran with multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy was ordered by Judge Chad Jenkins, and the case was taken over by the Detective Division of the Orange Police Department.
