In the summer of 2015, a life was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. On the evening of August 5th, 18-year-old Tamerick Riley was at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of East 96th Place. As he was walking into one of the buildings, a suspect reportedly opened fire from a stairwell, striking Riley.
