In the spring of 2025, a sense of unease settled over a Baltimore neighborhood when a 54-year-old Black female, Bridget Smallwood, was found dead. The discovery was made on the morning of March 13, around 11:13 a.m., in the 3700 block of Potee Street. Responding to a call about an unresponsive person, Baltimore Police patrol officers arrived at the scene to find Ms. Smallwood with evident trauma to her body.
