In the early morning hours of July 23, 2025, a violent encounter in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, claimed the life of 32-year-old Devin Wayne Hughes, a White male. Hughes was driving his car with two passengers when an individual opened fire on the vehicle.
