A Hispanic male, Domingo Torres, 44, was fatally shot in New Haven, Connecticut, on the evening of July 11, 2025. The incident occurred around 7:12 p.m. near the intersection of Maltby and Lombard streets in the Fair Haven neighborhood. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Torres unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
