The 34-year-old Black male was found deceased in his home, prompting an investigation by the local medical examiner's office to determine the circumstances surrounding the event. Family and community members were left grieving the loss of a man who had previously worked in the healthcare field as a nurse, a career dedicated to assisting patients with
their daily living activities.
Official reports from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later classified the manner of death as a suicide, resulting from a gunshot wound to the head. Due to the nature of the findings, law enforcement agencies did not pursue any suspects, and no arrests were made in connection with the case. The conclusion of the investigation brought a tragic end to a period of significant hardship for Wyndon, who had been struggling with the aftermath of a severe accident.
Prior to his death, Wyndon had suffered life-altering injuries in June 2024 when he was struck by an SUV that illegally merged into a carpool lane on the 405 freeway while he was commuting from work in Santa Monica. The collision left him in a coma for a time and resulted in permanent disabilities that required him to use a wheelchair and prevented him from returning to his nursing profession. Following the coroner's pronouncement, funeral services were scheduled to be held in early January 2026 at a missionary church in Los Angeles to honor his memory.
