Jordan Darnell Brown, a 20-year-old Black male from Macon, Georgia, was shot on the evening of April 21, 2026, at Waverly Pointe Apartments on Forest Hill Road in North Macon. Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office were called to the apartment complex just before 5:30 p.m. after reports of shots fired. By the time deputies arrived, witnesses said Brown had already been taken from the scene in a personal vehicle as people tried to get him to medical help.
