In the early evening of April 7, 2026, tragedy struck in Baton Rouge when 47-year-old Frederick Scott was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 5 p.m. in the vicinity of Sherwood Street and North Foster Drive. First responders discovered Scott with multiple gunshot wounds.
