Brianna “DreamDoll Brii” Johnson, a 21-year-old woman also known online as “ItGirlBri,” was fatally shot during the early morning hours of July 5, 2026, in Miramar, Florida. Although some memorial listings associated her with nearby Hollywood, authorities said the shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Sunshine Boulevard in Miramar. Johnson was a South Florida social media influencer and aspiring musical artist who had attracted hundreds of thousands of followers through her lifestyle posts, videos and online appearances.

At approximately 5:33 a.m., Johnson and two men were traveling west on Sunshine Boulevard in a bright green Lamborghini Urus. As the Lamborghini approached an intersection, a white sedan, described in reports as possibly a BMW, pulled alongside its driver’s side. Someone inside the sedan opened fire, striking the Lamborghini repeatedly. More than a dozen shots were reportedly fired before the attacking vehicle sped away.

After the gunfire, the wounded driver was unable to maintain control of the Lamborghini. The SUV continued for a short distance, struck a stop sign and drifted into the front yard of a residence, stopping near or against the home. Residents awakened by the crash and gunfire called 911 and urgently requested police officers and ambulances. Emergency personnel found all three occupants suffering from gunshot wounds and transported them to hospitals in critical condition.

Johnson died from her injuries shortly after the attack. One of the other occupants was her cousin, Arthur Lee Johnson III, known as “A.J.” He remained hospitalized in critical condition before dying several days later, making him the second person killed in the shooting. The third occupant survived and was eventually released from the hospital after receiving treatment for serious injuries, which reportedly included having his jaw wired shut.

Detectives described the shooting as appearing deliberate rather than random. Surveillance footage showed the white vehicle pulling beside the Lamborghini immediately before the gunfire and then fleeing. Investigators also examined social media footage that appeared to show the Lamborghini involved in an altercation at a gas station before the shooting. Authorities had not publicly established whether that confrontation was connected to the ambush, and the motive remained under investigation.

As of July 12, 2026, police had not publicly identified the gunman or any other suspect. No arrests, criminal charges, trials or convictions had been announced. Miramar police continued reviewing surveillance recordings, social media posts, witness information and other evidence in an effort to identify the occupants of the white sedan and determine what led to the attack.
