Terry Walker, a 51-year-old Black man from Birmingham, Alabama, was found unresponsive on the evening of Friday, October 29, 2010, in the Ensley neighborhood, after West Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of a person lying on the ground at 2522 Avenue F. When police arrived around 8:10 p.m., he was lying in the grass and did not respond. Paramedics came to the scene and pronounced him dead.
