On the morning of April 6, 2024, Damien Antonio Minard, a 43-year-old male, was walking along the 1300 block of Woodward Road in Midfield, Alabama, when his life was tragically cut short. In the predawn hours, the sound of gunfire echoed through the Jefferson County neighborhood. Minard was shot and killed in what authorities have deemed a homicide.
