In the early hours of April 15, 2023, the life of 16-year-old Jabbori Demetrius Yelding, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. The teenager was fatally shot at the Arbor Pointe Apartments on Dairy Road in Prichard, Alabama, a city within Mobile County. Responding officers discovered Yelding with gunshot wounds at approximately 2 a.m. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
