On the evening of March 14, 2023, tragedy struck in Mobile, Alabama, when Cedric Lowayne Lynch Jr., a 27-year-old Black male, was found shot to death inside his vehicle. The incident occurred around 9:16 p.m. in the 2000 block of Northwest Drive. When Mobile Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Lynch suffering from a fatal gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
